Abilene artist and sculpture, Terry S. Gilbreth, has been casting bronze statues for 35 years.  He owns Five Raven Art Enterprises and the Warrior Creek Foundry. 

The original foot tall sculpture and casting of the Mockingbird took place in October of 1995.  

The first recipient was Janet Stevens for Coyote Steals the Blanket.
