Ward students visit the library every week for a lesson and to check out books, magazines, and videos. 

 

Books are due two weeks from the date checked out, unless that date is a holiday.  No overdue fines are charged, but check out privileges may be limited if the student has overdue books.

 

Overdue materials include magazines and encyclopedias.  These materials should be returned the next morning.

 

Payment is required for lost and/or damaged books.  If the book is found and returned, the money will be refunded.

 

Other than the regularly scheduled LRC times, students may come to the LRC on passes throughout the day.

 

Kindergartners may check out one book at a time;

 1st graders may check out two books at a time; 

 2nd graders may check out three books at a time;

 3rd grades may check out four booksat a time;

 4th graders may check out five books at a time;

 5th graders may check out six books at a time.
