Hello,
My name is Amber Boswell. This is my 4th year at Bassetti Elementary. My roles have been ARI/AMI teacher and 3rd grade teacher. This year I am serving as the Parent Coordinator for our school. We became a Title 1 campus, and with that “title” came more paper work!
The Parent Coordinator’s responsibilities are documentation of parent involvement in five categories, assisting the classroom teachers in obtaining 100% parent involvement in each category, attendance duties, organizing PAC and SWPAC meetings, coordinating parent centers, and acts as a liaison for communication between our campus and the Office of Federal Programs. I am also tutoring after school because I love seeing our students succeed in the classroom and on their TAKS tests!
I want to thank you for your participation in your child’s school year. Everyone knows that learning begins at home, and students succeed more at school when the parents are involved in their children’s education.
