Larry Davis is the Executive Director for Special Education. He has taught in a 4th grade classroom and in elementary Special Education classrooms. Before coming to Abilene ISD he served as the Director for the Center of Teaching and Learning at Region XIV Education Service Center. While there he worked closely with the Texas Education Agency and districts around the state on assessment and accountability issues. He graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Masters degree in Education. Larry and his wife Rhonda have two children, Erin and Emilee. He has been a part of the Abilene community all of his life and looks forward to many years of service to the children in Abilene ISD.
