Bienvenidos! I have been with AISD since 2004, and I teach Spanish and Journalism. I graduated high school from Ranger High School in Ranger, TX, and then attended Cisco College in Cisco, TX. I transferred to Abilene Christian University, and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Spanish. I also received my teacher's certificate from ACU for Spanish. My goal is to become a secondary school counselor to advocate for our students since completing my Masters of Education in School Counseling in December of 2015 from Lamar University.
Materials needed daily for my class are a three subject spiral, pens, pencils, map colors, and a plastic folder with brads. Cell phones are not permitted, and parents may contact their child via the attendance office. Please contact the attendance office at 325-677-1731.
I am happy to answer any question or concern you may have. The fastest way to reach me regarding any concern is via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
My tutorial times are to be determined, and will be posted in my room. Students will schedule tutorials with me, and students should arrive within the first five minutes. If by chance I am out for the day, a substitute will be available during tutorials, but the substitute teacher may not know Spanish; therefore, the student may reschedule their time when I return.
My conference period is third period.
I look forward to meeting my students, and know we will have a successful year!
