Welcome students and parents. This is my 28th year of teaching, all at the high school level.  This is my third year at Abilene High.  Away from school, I enjoy spending time with my husband who also coaches and teaches at Abilene High.  I have two children, ages 24 and 21.  My daughter is a kindergarten teacher.  My son is a senior in college.  My daughter's husband is also a coach and teacher.  My favorite job is GiGi to my adorable granddaughter.

I graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 1987, then Angelo State University in 1990. There, I earned a bachelor's degree in both English and History, with a minor in Education.  I began my teaching career in Ballinger, Texas, with stops in Lampasas, Stafford, and Gatesville, before coming to Abilene.  I look forward to having your student in class and helping them navigate this year in English.
