• Mrs. McMillion

  • Hi, my name is Melissa McMillion.  I have been teaching Health Science at Abilene High since 2010.   I love sharing my nursing background with my students in the courses of Medical Terminology and Principles of Health Science, and like the honor to help students pursue their dreams of becoming a future health care worker.  HOSA is the student led organization that is part of Health Science.  I am the advisor to HOSA and enjoy seeing students step up to the challenge of leadership, competition, and community service.

I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in nursing from Cedarville University in 1990 and have nursing experience in oncology, psychiatric, neonatal intensive care, and mother baby care.  My work experience includes hospital, office and clinic settings.  I am married to my husband, Greg and we have 2 daughters, Sarah and Anna.

Communication is key to success in my classroom.
