Kimberly Brumley

Kimberly Brumley joined Abilene ISD in June 2017.

A fourth-generation educator, Ms. Brumley has more than 30 years of educational experience.  Formerly, she was the Director for Professional Learning with the Corpus Christi Independent School District.  In addition, Brumley has been a teacher, instructional specialist for English language arts and reading, campus administrator, and district administrator.

While she has been involved in many organizations, her primary professional involvement includes Delta Kappa Gamma Society International for Key Women Educators and the Texas Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (Texas ASCD). Additionally, she serves as troop leader for more than 30 Abilene girl scouts in grades K-12.

Brumley graduated with honors from Texas A&M University (1991) and earned her masters from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi (1995).

Kimberly is mother to Emily and Augusta, both students in Abilene ISD.
