Stephanie Hammer

Stephanie is a graduate of Abilene Cooper and went on to receive her Bachelor’s from McMurry University. Her teaching career began in 1992 at Madison Middle School where she taught both sixth and eighth grade ELAR and ended 25 years later at Abilene High School where she taught English I and English IV. After earning her Master’s Degree from Abilene Christian University,  she served one year as a middle school Assistant Principal. Stephanie has returned to her ELA roots and currently enjoys serving Abilene English teachers as the Secondary ELA Coordinator.

Stephanie is a member of Abilene ISD’s DWCC, Texas ASCD, CREST, and Holy Family Parish Council.

Away from work, Stephanie loves being outdoors, spending time with family and friends.
