Mandi Joiner

Mandi Joiner grew up south of Fort Worth in the small town of Rio Vista. Both her parents were teachers, so it was natural to follow in their footsteps. Mrs. Joiner graduated from Texas A&M University in 2004, teaching for three years before moving to Abilene, Texas. Her husband is a product of Abilene ISD: Johnston Elementary School, Mann Middle School & Abilene High School. Mrs. Joiner taught in Anson ISD for eight years (first & fourth grades) before transitioning to Abilene ISD, where she taught kindergarten & fourth Grade at Reagan Elementary School. After earning a master’s degree in reading from Abilene Christian University, she accepted an Instructional Coordinator position at Ward Elementary School. After three years at Ward Elementary, Mrs. Joiner moved to the AISD Administration Building where she now serves as the Elementary Reading/Language Arts Coordinator for the school district. In her free time, Mrs. Joiner enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with family and friends.
