Michael Garcia

The 2021-2022 marks the 1st year for Michael Garcia as the Executive Director of Student Services. Mr. Garcia’s classroom experience included teaching Computer Literacy and coaching at Franklin Middle School for 13 years. Thereafter, he continued his service as an Assistant Principal at Abilene for 7 years. His first role as a lead Principal began at Jane Long Elementary where he resided for 5 years. Martinez Elementary was the last elementary stop where he led for 2 years. His final Principal position came at Abilene High School where he led the Eagles for 4 years. The 2021-2022 years marks the 32nd year in education, all in Abilene ISD.
