Suzanne Kehret is currently serving as the K-12 Science Curriculum Coordinator for Abilene ISD. She has been teaching science since 2007 and earned her Master’s degree in Educational Technology at Concordia St. Paul in 2013. She has experience teaching at both the elementary and high school level through both direct teaching as well as curriculum writing with various school districts and community programs.
As a second generation educator, Suzanne understands the importance of engaging students using real-life applications. Her master’s degree studies focused on the use of technology integration in the classroom to promote higher student engagement and achievement. Suzanne moved from Minnesota to Texas and joined the Curriculum and Instruction team in the fall of 2018. Her focus in her current role is helping teachers to provide meaningful learning experiences that ignite our student’s passion for science.
