Suzanne Kehret grew up in Iowa and earned her Bachelor’s degree at Iowa State University in Biology Education. She has been teaching science since 2007 and earned her Master’s degree in Educational Technology at Concordia St. Paul in 2013. Her experience includes a variety of high school science courses at multiple levels including Advanced Placement courses.
As a second generation educator, Suzanne understands the importance of engaging students using real-life applications. Her master’s degree studies focused on the use of technology integration in the classroom to promote higher student engagement and achievement. Suzanne moved from Minnesota to Texas and joined the Curriculum and Instruction team in the fall of 2018. She currently serves as the K-12 Science Curriculum Coordinator for AISD. Her focus in her current role is helping teachers to provide meaningful learning experiences that ignite our student’s passion for science.
