Kay Loftin

I have been an educator for 35 years. I grew up in Abilene and graduated from Abilene ISD schools, as well as attending Hardin-Simmons University. I have taught every grade from PK to 12th, and I am very excited about my role as the Social Studies Coordinator K-12.  I feel privileged to get to work with the wonderful Social Studies staff on all Abilene ISD campuses. 

I believe that history is the foundation of our nation and through historical study, we progress as a nation and become a stronger, more influential nation.
