Adult Education offers English language instruction in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
At orientation, students are tested, then placed into classes with students who have similar abilities in English. Levels range from basic beginning to advanced.
Classroom instruction is based around cultural and life skills in the USA. Upon completion of the ESL program, students may then move into Adult Basic Education for high school equivalency (GED®) classes.
ESL Morning classes (4 days per week) are held on Monday – Thursday 8:30–11:30 AM
ESL Evening Classes (2 nights per week) are held on Tuesday and Thursday 5:30-8:30 PM
Weekly ESL Orientation Schedule
Mornings – TUESDAY and FRIDAY (8:30am – 12:30pm)
Afternoons –MONDAY through THURSDAY (1:30 – 4:30pm)
Evenings – TUESDAY AND THURSDAY (5:30 – 8:30pm)
A current ID and Social Security card (or passport) is required for orientation.
