Do you drop off a budding entrepreneur in front of school each day? Are there future business leaders in Abilene ISD classrooms?

Most definitely. And, now, these young leaders have an opportunity to showcase their products and services.

Applications are now being accepted for the Abilene Christian University’s third annual Acton Children’s Business Fair on March 23.

To participate in the fair, children from ages 6-14 will develop a brand, create a product or service, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at the fair. The event is hosted by ACU’s Enactus chapter and Griggs Center for Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy.

Two young entrepreneurs, twin brothers Jackson and Carter Kitts of Austin Elementary, launched their pet rock business at last year’s fair. Click here to see their story and interview from a recent segment on KTAB-4U.

Registration will run through Feb. 28. For registration and more information, visit https://www.childrensbusinessfair.org/abilene.
