Approximately 1,600 students in 25 different AISD programs – from elementary to high school – performed for hundreds of Abilenians Nov. 27 at the 30th Annual City Sidewalks celebration in downtown Abilene.
Musicians, spirit groups and organizations also participated in the parade that wound through downtown streets lined with enthusiastic spectators. Even more high school vocalists and orchestra musicians helped culminate the evening by serenading the crowd at the Christmas Tree Lighting at Abilene Convention Center.
