At Dyess Elementary, perfect attendance pays off.
Every semester our wonderful partner businesses donate incentives that our students can work towards winning in our end-of-semester drawing. The big prize, a bike and helmet from BikeTown, is always a huge win!
Also, Rosa’s Café provides lunch for 30 lucky students, five from each grade, at their Catclaw location. This is a fun, and tasty, field trip for students and staff!
Dyess also draws winners for lunchboxes, treat cups and water bottles, and everyone with perfect attendance walks away with at least a medal and prize. The fall semester big winner is Douglas Liddell, a third grader, who received his fabulous new bike at our Celebrations Pep Rally on Jan. 11.
