Kids can eat healthy and free with the Abilene ISD Summer Meal Program this summer.

The Abilene ISD Student Nutrition Department is offering free healthy meals for children 18 and younger through its annual summer meal program. Starting at most locations on June 3, meals will be served for children from any school district at almost 20 sites across the community. Many sites offer both breakfast and lunch while some sites serve lunch only.

The Summer Food Service Program will run from June 3 until July 26 at most locations. Some dates, times and meals vary. All locations will be closed July 4 and 5 in observance of Independence Day.

For times, locations and meals served at each site, go to www.abileneisd.org and click on “Summer Food Service Program” under the quick links section. You can also call 211 to find a meal site near you.
