ABILENE – Recently, some of the finest vocalists and musicians in Abilene ISD middle school fine arts programs took center stage as students from all four middle schools were honored and selected to regional honor choir and orchestra groups.

Abilene Middle School Choir Students Selected for TMEA Region 6 Honor Choir
Middle School Choir students from AISD competed in the Texas Music Educators Association Region 6 Junior High/Middle School Choir Audition that was held on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Craig Middle School. The following AISD students were selected for the Treble and Tenor/Bass Choirs:
Clack Middle School – Treble: Aaricka Fullam; and Tenor/Bass: Logan Hamilton
Craig Middle School – Treble: Morgan Anders, Hope Arrazola, Caitlyn Bowman, Tarynn Bridge, Amelia Carr, Kaylie Enriquez, Abigail Gonzalez, Faith Harper, Monique Heidelberger, Oliva Horn, Macy Loudermilk, Alexa Lubanga, Carrie Mercer, Kelsie Patterson, Mattie Spaulding, Kate Watts, Zoe Wilson; and Tenor/Bass: Blair Brighton, Maddox Brock, Camp Churchill, Jacob Dendinger, Sean Duran, Brian Garcia, Izayah Jaramillo, Maddox Loudermilk, Jacob Mitchell, Noah Morris, Aiden Schwartz, Asher Shelburne, and Joshua Thibault.
Madison Middle School – Treble: Alison Johnston, Aolani Montes, Kaley Rutledge, Ena Turnbow, Lauren Valentine, Mia Cortez, Claudia Jacques, Zoey Klohn, Brooklyn Knapp, Jalissa Martinez, Emily Mitchell, Michelle Torres, Lindsey Trevino, Leigha Brannon, Rylie Gossett, Kayleigh Henry, Veronica Holland, Heather James, Bernie Moropoulos, Ava Quinones, and Kasey Ueblacker; and Tenor/Bass: Gaven Aguirre, Jeramiah Appel, Kameron Gray, Addison Hargrove, Brady Henderson, Kyler Wheeler, Alejandro Castillo, Kylan Cook, and Gavin Hail.
Mann Middle School – Treble: Taylor Nevitt, Ana Vargas Dias, and Natalie Hancock; and Tenor/Bass: Diego Castillo and Jeremiah Miranda.
Choir students from the AISD middle schools competed in the Big Country Sixth Grade Honor Choir Audition that was held on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at First Baptist Church in Abilene. The following AISD students were selected:
Clack Middle School – Sydney Cripps, Iyanna Foreman, Marisol Hernandez, Karma Davis, Derek Speights, and Emilee Webster.
Craig Middle School – Merit Albright, Payton Allred, Cierra Brown, Kaila Craddock, Brooklyn Johnson, Addison Lee, T’Niyah Lee, Everly Porter, RylieRhylan Hancock, Noah Lubanga, Sam Pinson, Kathryn Tolar, Zoey Wallace, Olivia Weatherford, and Brylie Whiley.
Madison Middle School – Truth Burleson, Emerson Hubbard, Chase Kamer, Boston Knapp, Adalaide Kowalewski, Savannah Rollins, Shaeleigh Williamson, Analeigh Jones, Gabriella Kincanon, Happy Loftin, and Dylan McDonald.
Mann Middle School – Eriqa Otey, Ireland Ramsey, Paradice DeMartini, Jackson Liske, Abbie Mansker, and Amery Rodriguez.
The choirs performed in the All-Region Choir Concert at Huff Performing Arts Center in Clyde on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019.

AISD Middle School Students Selected for 2019 Big Country Honor Orchestra
Middle School orchestra students from the AISD and Wichita Falls ISD competed in the Big Country Honor Orchestra auditions held on Friday, November 1, 2019, at Clack Middle School. The following students were selected for the Big Country Honor Orchestra and will perform in concert at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2019, at Cullen Auditorium on the campus of Abilene Christian University.
Clack Middle School – 11 students:
