ABILENE – Abilene High School and Cooper High School orchestra students participated in the Texas Music Educators Association Region 6 Virtual All-Region Orchestra audition.
Abilene High placed seven (7) students in the All-Region Symphony Orchestra. Those students by instrument were: Ethan Dunn and Caesar Chavez (violin); Frank Fang and Grant Bridge (cello); Krystian Huff and Dylan Fink (bass); and Zoe Fowlkes (harp).
Cooper placed one (1) student in the All-Region Symphony Orchestra. That student by instrument was Trinity Fernandez (violin).
Abilene High placed one (1) student in the All-Region Philharmonic Orchestra: Brooklyn Beal (violin). That student by instrument was: Violin – Brooklyn Beal. Cooper placed two (2) students in the All-Region Philharmonic Orchestra: Dylan Garcia (violin) and Alex Beckett (cello).
Both Abilene High and Cooper orchestras are under the direction of Darcy Radcliffe and Fred Grigg.
