Abilene ISD elementary students to have chance to create one-of-a-kind Christmas ornaments

ABILENE – Abilene ISD elementary students will have the chance to create a custom Christmas ornament this holiday season by taking advantage of an opportunity to utilize the Makerspace at The LIFT.

Students will be able to create the custom ornament at The LIFT on Saturday, Dec. 11, during the Santa’s Makerspace event. Students will create the piece using laser-cut parts. The cost is $10 per ornament includes all the supplies needed to make a Christmas ornament and a cup of hot chocolate.

This is a come-and-go event, and there are three time slots to choose from: 10 a.m.-12 p.m., 12-2 p.m., and 2-4 p.m.. All students must be accompanied by a parent / guardian. Space is limited and RSVPs are required.
