Students and families from Bowie Elementary School experienced fun science stations and a hike along Cedar Creek Waterway at Bowie Science Night on March 24.

The event began at the Cedar Creek Waterway trailhead on South 11th Street. Activities included making and identifying animal tracks, examining animal fur and skeletons, and learning how to use binoculars. Along the hiking trail, students also went on a scavenger hunt for different elements of nature common to the Big Country.

Bowie families also enjoyed free snow cones from Kona Ice courtesy of Aldersgate UMC.
