Abilene ISD is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our students, staff, and schools. To help students, staff, parents, and community members play an active role in keeping our schools safe, AISD created Speak Up, the district’s very own anonymous safety report line.

This unique system allows AISD students and staff to reach out for help for themselves or their friends and colleagues without concern for being publicly identified. Speak Up can be used to report suspected criminal activity as well as concerns about bullying, violence, physical or mental health, suicide prevention, homes in crisis, inappropriate behavior, the loss of a friend or family member, and food or housing insecurity. When a concern is reported using Speak Up, the application automatically notifies a limited number of district-level administrators and safety personnel who can quickly and discreetly respond to provide assistance.

To access Speak Up, visit abileneisd.org/speakup or click on the Speak Up for Safety link on any AISD campus website. Thank you for helping us keep AISD a safe place to learn and work!

If you need to report a situation involving an AISD student or staff member that is an emergency or life-threatening, please call 911.
