The Abilene ISD administrative offices at 241 Pine Street are currently undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment of the building’s HVAC system to be completed over the next year. Many areas in the building will not be accessible while this process is underway.
The following departments have temporarily relocated to the Hartford Professional Learning Center (5340 Hartford Street) during the initial phase of this project:
- Superintendent’s Office
- Business & Finance
- Curriculum & Instruction
- Athletics
- Fine Arts
- Operations
- Communications
- Health Services
- Federal Programs
- Abilene Education Foundation
Services provided by our Student Services and Human Resources departments will still be available at 241 Pine Street. Normal phone extensions also remain in operation for departments relocated to the Hartford Center, and visitor parking is available in front of the facility. Board meetings will continue to be held as scheduled in the AISD Boardroom.
