Experience: This is my eighth year of teaching. I enjoy teaching high school students. It is very rewarding.
Prior to teaching, I spent three decades in broadcast. I worked as a managing editor, reporter, producer, anchor, and reporter/photographer at KTXS, KRBC, and KLRU (Austin). I was a freelance reporter working for stations around the state on political and legislative issues, during a span of 10 years. Additionally, I hosted a news program at KAZI FM in Austin and a talk show at KSLI AM in Abilene. I have been honored by the Associated Press with two awards for “Best Reporter”, and first place awards in political, feature, and serious feature.
