My name is Jennifer McLean.  I have the pleasure of teaching 5th Grade Science at Austin Elementary. I love learning about our amazing world and sharing the joy of discovery with my students. I began my teaching career in AISD in 1999 and I have been at Austin Elementary since 2005. I am originally from San Antonio, but when I came to Abilene for college at Hardin Simmons University, I decided that the size of Abilene and the pace of life here was a perfect fit for me.   I met my husband shortly after graduating from HSU, and we have called Abilene home ever since.   We have one daughter who attended Austin, Madison, and Holland Medical High School/Cooper High school, and is now a Texas Tech graduate.
