Hello! My name is Amanda Martin and I am a second grade teacher at Bonham Elementary. This is my 21st year teaching, and I couldn't imagine doing anything else. Teaching is my passion. I come from a family of educators and my husband is a teacher at Abilene High School. We have two beautiful daughters who also attend schools in Abilene ISD. My why for teaching is I love working in a career where I know I am making a difference. My hope every year is to help students understand their worth. Each child is unique and watching them grow to be a lifelong learner enriches my life deeply.
