Student Engagement

Student Engagement will offer opportunities for teachers to examine best practices in instruction. The goal for these trainings is to create deeper, content-rich classrooms. Offerings include Academic Vocabulary, 5E Model, Differentiated Instruction, ACE, PBIS, and Questioning Strategies.

STUDENT ENGAGEMENT – Research consistently shows that the more time students are actively engaged in learning activities, the more they learn and the more positive their attitudes are toward school. AISD provides a variety of staff development opportunities through out the year to equip teachers with the knowledge, skills, and strategies they need to ensure all students can achieve at high levels and have a positive attitude toward school.
