  • Counseling for Military Connected Students and Families

While AISD counselors and social workers are available to all students including military connected students , Military Family Life Consultants (MFLCs) offer free, Confidential Face-to-Face Non-Medical Counseling. Abilene ISD has four Military Family Life Consultants (MFLCs) housed on the Dyess Elementary, Clack Middle School, ATEMS, Abilene High School, and Cooper High School campuses.  These counselors can be deployed to help military connected students at any campus in the district. The campus counselors can assist students with access to the services offered by MFLCs.

Sometimes strength means asking for help.

Military OneSource and the Military and Family Life Counseling Programs offer free, confidential, face-to-face non-medical counseling to support you with military and family life challenges like preparing for and handling a move, school issues, or nurturing a relationship with a deployed spouse.
