School social workers are ready to assist you in your search for solutions and community resources. Heavenly Rest started drive through food pick up on Fridays from 9 – 11:30am. They provide a box of non-perishable foods, no meat or milk. They have breads, fruits and vegetables when available. Food pick up is on Amarillo St, between South 6th and 7th. If you have questions call 677-2091. They do not require ID and there is no monthly limit for use of the pantry. Please wear a mask.
Loaves and Fishes is open on Tuesday from 1-3pm. Must bring picture ID and utility bill or lease. Cars line up in alley starting at Nelson Building and will be given a number on the windshield (stay in car). Cars will be called up to get loaded. Loaves and Fishes is part on Sacred Heart Catholic Church on 837 Jeanette St. If you have questions contact Mary Ellen Migliore (325) 829-7947. On Mondays from 12-4, anyone can volunteer to help unload food. If there is extra food available it is passed out to the volunteers. Please wear a mask.
