I am the lead teacher at The Jefferson Center, arriving on campus September 12, 2013. At the Jefferson Center, I enjoy working with all four programs housed on the campus. Before coming to Jefferson, I taught special education classes and business classes and coached soccer at Cooper High School. In addition to spending 13 years in the Abilene Independent School District, I have also coached soccer at Hardin-Simmons University (1990-1994) and McMurry University (2007-2008) and spent four years in South Korea working as the special needs coordinator and athletic director at Taejeon Christian International School.
My wife Judy and I have been married 37 years and have three children and five grandchildren. I graduated from Hardin-Simmons University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and later received my master's in educational administration from The University of Phoenix.
