My name is Roxanne Laudi. I am blessed to have the opportunity to serve the wonderful children of Dyess Elementary, their families, and the Dyess team. I am happy to assist in caring for your child’s health care needs, to promote healthy habits, and an optimal learning environment. Please inform the school of any changes in your child’s health or medications he or she may be taking. Most importantly, please keep us informed of any changes in phone numbers so we may contact you quickly in the event of an emergency. Guidelines:
  • Fever (100.0 or higher)– Student must be fever free for 24 hours WITHOUT fever reducing medications (Tylenol, ibuprofen, Motrin, ect).
  • Vomiting— Student must be vomit free for 24 hours WITHOUT the use of medication.
  • Diarrhea— Student must be diarrhea free for 24 hours WITHOUT the use of medication.
  • Rash— Rash with itching and/or fever—free from rash, itching and fever for 24 hours AND I have a doctor’s note to return to school.
  • Eye infection– If student is diagnosed with “pink eye” (redness, itchy, crusty eyes with pus-like drainage) MUST be on antibiotics for 24 hours before returning to school.
  • Strep throat– MUST be on antibiotics AND fever free for 24 hours before returning to school.
Medications—ALL medications must be stored in clinic with a signed parental form EACH YEAR for medication administration. They must be in original over the counter bottle or pharmacy bottle with pharmacy label. Herbal and dietary supplements are not permitted at school. ~Thank you Roxanne Laudi, RN
