3RD GRADE ROCKS!

Our unique connection to Dyess Air Force Base allows us to work with our students, many of whom have lived all over the world.  The third grade teachers are happy to work with your child to foster a positive learning experience. We appreciate parent involvement in all of these pursuits. Developing both social and academic responsibility are an integral part of this year’s experience.

Our main objectives in Reading are comprehension, fluency. and exposure to a variety of literature. Math objectives include memorization of facts, computation, and problem solving through logical reasoning. Additionally, the students are exposed to various engaging units in science and social studies.
