Hello! My name is Debra Borchert, I am the Diversified Healthcare Skills Instructor and also a C.N.A. Instructor at Holland Medical High School. I am a Registered Nurse with the majority of my experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, Newborn Nursery, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I grew up in Wisconsin and attended college in Minnesota. I graduated from The College of St. Catherine (now St. Catherine University) in St. Paul, MN. The day after graduation I was commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force where I served for over 10 years. I began teaching at Holland in 2014. Working at Holland is a perfect combination of medicine and teaching, two things that I love!
My husband Don is also an Air Force Veteran, and now flys for American Airlines. Together we have four children – Jake, Katherine, Alex, and Drew.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12:15-12:45 (a shuttle bus is available from AHS and CHS at 12:00pm, with a return shuttle back to campus at 12:45pm). As my schedule often changes weekly, before school and after school tutorial times are available by appointment.
Parent conferences are available by request.
