How to apply to Holland Medical High School

**A student must have a FULL credit in Principles of Health Science as a prerequisite for Holland classes.  Students with partial credit may be considered on an individual basis based on availability of summer school classes and skills. 

Request a link to the online application by completing the Google form on the Holland website. Application Request

  1. A link to the online application will be sent to the email provided within 48 hours of the request. This link will come through an email from DocuSign.
  2. Students MUST attend a program meeting. See Letter of Understanding for more details.Please note all programs have fees that are subject to change. These fees and other requirements will be discussed at the program meetings.
    1. Certified Nurses Assistant:       Monday, Jan. 23rd or Tuesday, Jan. 24th  @6:00
    2. Diversified Healthcare Skills:   Monday, Jan. 23rd or Thursday, Jan. 26th @5:30
    3. Pharmacy:                                   Monday, Jan. 23rd or Thursday, Jan 26th @6:30
    4. Registered Dental Assistant:   Monday, Jan. 23rd or Tuesday, Jan. 24th @5:30
    5. Certified Medical Assistant:     Monday, Jan. 23d or Thursday, Jan. 26th @6:00

NO application requests will be honored after 4:00 PM on Feb. 15.

Students will need the following documents to submit with their online application. 

    1. Social Security card
    2. Shot record- with TB results if possible
    3. Photo ID (driver’s license, military ID, or passport)
    4. Proof of group 1 background check (results are preferred, but receipt of payment will work – results are required BEFORE May 25th).

Give teacher recommendation form (obtain from principles teacher at home campus) to a CORE teacher for completion. This must be submitted to jennifer.seekins@abileneisd.org OR kristy.borton@abileneisd.org.All parts of the application are due by Friday, Feb. 17 at 4:00PM. NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED -FIRM!

*Any student that needs an admission conference will be contacted and conferences schedule for February 27-March3.

* Information regarding application status will be mailed March 10, 2023.

*Admitted students for CNA and Pharmacy are required to attend a meeting on April 4 at 6:00 PM

 

ALL paperwork required for admission is due PRIOR to May 25th. Students’ admission status can be changed if lacking documentation.
