While I grew up in a small town in the panhandle of Texas, I got to Abilene as fast as I could!  My family moved here when I was in high school and I haven’t left since.  I graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1998 with my Bachelor’s degree in Education and completed my  Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2019.  I have 11 years of teaching experience, from teaching eighth grade all the way down to early elementary.  I have been married for 25 years and we have 3 kids we are proud to claim as ours.

I believe that students are the life of a school, guided by supportive teachers and administrators.  Educators can greatly influence the lives of students.  I believe growth occurs when educators and students, along with parents, work together collaboratively.  A successful school has not only students that are growing and learning, but faculty and staff that is also growing and learning together.  I am super excited to be a part of the Madison Bison team where we strive to learn more and grow together as a community. 

Since our new-normal is not the same as our old-normal, we have a unique journey this school year.  Let me know if I can be of assistance in any way as we navigate these new roads.
