Greetings.  I am proud to be part of the education world!  This is my 23rd year in education and have taught mathematics to every grade level from 6-12.  I began my teaching career at a middle school in Keller, TX, then was out of the classroom 14 years as a stay-at-home mom, and now in my 18th year with Abilene ISD.  I taught at Cooper High School 13 years before transitioning to Madison Middle School where I taught 6th grade for 3 years and am now in my 2nd year teaching Algebra 1 and 8th grade mathematics.  I am a native of Montana.  I transplanted to Texas when I was 17 to attend Hardin-Simmons University.  I earned a Bachelor of Education Degree with a major in Secondary Mathematics and minor in History.  My husband, of over 30 years, and I have 3 grown "boys" who all graduated from AISD, a daughter-in-law, and 3 granddaughters.  We also have 4 rescue pets, two of which are pet therapy dogs.
