Carol Burson, A-L
Since the fall of 2018 it has been my privilege to serve the students, parents, faculty and staff of Mann Middle School as a campus counselor. I am proud to work with the extraordinary team of educators at this campus who work daily to help our students grow as young people and take steps toward important life goals.
I have enjoyed a variety of career experiences in education and have worked in elementary, secondary, collegiate and regional service center positions. I have enjoyed all those experiences, but the role I have loved best is working directly with students in teaching and counseling endeavors.
I love learning and I hope students at this campus will be inspired to become life-long learners and discoverers of how their gifts and talents can make a positive impact on our world. I see my role as providing support to our entire community of learning, including students, parents, and staff, as we try to create paths for student growth and success.
I encourage parents and students to contact me anytime that I can be of assistance and to allow me to be a partner in problem solving as we navigate the middle school experience together. Please feel free to call, email, or drop by our counseling offices. Your needs and concerns are important to us.
