Nurse

My name is Traci Wasmer and I am proud to be the nurse for Martinez Elementary.  I have been a nurse for 21 years.  I graduated from Stephen F. Austin University with a degree in Health and Physical Education and then later received my RN degree from San Angelo State University.   My nursing experience includes working in a hospital on the medical/surgical unit, Case Management for Pregnant and Teenage parents enrolled in school, teaching Health Science Technology in High School, Home Health, and School Nursing.  I was the school nurse at Madison MS for 11 years and now going on my third year at Martinez Elementary.  

I am here to partner with you in your child’s health and wellness.  Please feel free to call if you have any concerns with your child’s medical conditions or any health concerns. The clinic hours are from 7:15-4:00.
