Shotwell Stadium
Shotwell Stadium is the home field for the Abilene High School Eagles and the Cooper High School Cougars. The stadium has been host to many high profile games. The stadium has seen crowds of over the 15,000 seating capacity when standing room sections were made available.
Shotwell Stadium has undergone a number of upgrades in recent years, including the installation of Field Turf’s high performance synthetic turf, Revolution, state-of-the-art Musco field lighting, dressing room renovations and the addition of two new restroom complexes.

Shotwell Stadium
From I-20: Exit 290-Loop 322/Cross Plains onto the service road. At the stop sign turn south onto Loop 322 and travel 1.9 miles to Texas 36/Cross Plains exit. Turn right onto TX 36/E.S. 11th and travel 0.5 miles to Expo Drive. Turn left on Expo Drive to the stadium entrance.
From Texas 36: Proceed west on Highway 36 past Loop 322 for 0.5 miles to Expo Drive. Turn left on Expo Drive to the stadium entrance.
From Highway 83/84 or 277: Turn right onto Loop 322 and proceed to Texas 36/Cross Plains exit. Turn left onto TX 36/E.S. 11th and travel 0.5 miles to Expo Drive. Turn left on Expo Drive to the stadium entrance.
