Mr. Ahlschwede-AKA- Mr. A david.ahlschwede@abileneisd.org Mathematics I was born in Nebraska, but grew up in Greeley, Colorado.  I spent 20 years in the Air Force as a Combat Cameraman, and retired in 2005.  I am married to Jill and have 2 amazing children who are both married and starting families of their own.  We have lived many places throughout the world and have lived in Abilene 3 times.  Abilene kept calling us back home, now we are calling Abilene home.  I’ve taught 4^th and 5^th grade math and I look forward to working with you and your children, it takes a team.  Thank you for trusting me with their education and as the year progresses, please feel free to contact me with any and all questions you may have.
