Joe Cunningham Jr.
Hello! My name is Joe Cunningham Jr. aka (Mr. C.). I am the Positive Behavior Support Liaison at Purcell Elementary School. This is my 3rd year with Abilene ISD. I started my education journey in 2007 with Communities in Schools where I spent 12 years. I am married to my beautiful wife, Tracey Cunningham and we have three adult sons, Dimitrius, Xavier, and Devon.
I was born and raised in Houston, TX and I am the only child. I graduated from M.B. Smiley High School and came to Abilene, Texas to attend McMurry University with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and I went to Concordia University Chicago and received my Master of Arts Degree in Sports Management Leadership.
