Hi! My name is Erin Davis and I am so excited to be a part of the Bowie Bobcat community! More importantly, I am thrilled to be your teacher! It’s going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures and I can not wait to see what the year has in store for us. I want to know all about you, but first I’m going to tell you a few things about me.
I was born and raised right here in Abilene, Texas and I am the oldest of two. I graduated from Abilene Christian High School in 2007 and attended Hardin Simmons University where I played volleyball. In May of 2012, I graduated from HSU with a degree in EC-6 Education and Special Education. I am also certified in ESL (English as a Second Language). In December 2019, I completed and graduated with my Masters Degree in Special Education from Lamar University. I am also a Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired.
This is going to be my tenth year teaching! I taught Kindergarten PALS at Bowie for 5 years, I was a Teacher of the Visually Impaired at Wylie Early Childhood for 1 year, and I taught Resource Reading and Writing at Clyde Intermediate for 2 years before returning to Bowie last year and teaching the ADAPT class.
I love serving the kids of Abilene and I am especially excited for the upcoming year with you!
