Hello, My name is Ruth Hart. I am the 3rd-5th PALS teacher at Purcell Elementary, and I love my job! I have taught PALS since 2019, and I have worked in Special Education since 2016. In my class, we emphasize growing students' functional academic skills to help them achieve independence throughout their lives. We also are flexible and adaptive to create a learning environment that promotes the success of every student. In addition, our class has two wonderful aides, Angela Cook and Becky Taves. They work extensively with students one-on-one and in small groups to give the students individualized attention and instruction.
