Hillary Hernandez
Hello! My name is Mrs. Hernandez. I am the Assistant Principal at Dyess. This is my 15th year with Abilene ISD. I started my teaching in 2009 at Bassetti Elementary School! I taught first grade for 9 years, third grade for 1 year and an Instructional Coordinator for 2 years. This is my third year as Assistant Principal. I am married to a wonderful man, Mr. Hernandez and we have three children, Levi, Maxtin and Ayla!
I was born and raised in Abilene, TX and I am the oldest of two. I graduated from Cooper High School and I stayed in Abilene to go to Hardin-Simmons University with my BBS in Elementary Education and I received my M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin.
