Hello! I am Mrs. Kay Loftin and I currently teach 8th Grade Social Studies (Academic and Pre AP) and I teach the Yearbook class. This is my 34 year to teach school and I still love coming to work everyday. I received a BA degree from Hardin-Simmons University. I am a product of AISD...having attended Jane Long, Johnston, Mann, and Abilene High. I am married and have 3 grown children. My oldest Tiffany works in AISD as an Instructional Technology Specialist, My older son Jeffrey works for Jordan Speith's father as an actuary, and my younger son Matthew works for KTXS as a new producer. I am a grandmother of 1 beautiful little girl named Clara. I also have 2 dogs...Joey, a chiweinee,, and Coop, a lab. I
