Kyle Martin has been teaching theatre in Texas since 2003 and has been the head theatre director at Abilene High School since 2017. He holds a B.F.A. in acting and directing from Abilene Christian University and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. Mr. Martin began his teaching career in the Houston area before joining Abilene ISD in 2011, serving as an Assistant Director at Cooper High School for 5 years. Mr. Martin is married to Amanda Martin, 2nd grade teacher at Bonham Elementary and has two daughters, both of whom attend Abilene ISD schools.
