Principal

My name is Leslye Roberts, and I am honored to serve as the Taylor Elementary Principal. As a faculty and staff, we strive to provide an educational experience for each student to learn, lead and succeed. We will provide academic instruction to meet the individual needs of each student. All Taylor students will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills with the integration of the Leader in Me and the Seven Habits. We believe all students should have the opportunity to lead on our campus.  As we focus on academic instruction and leadership skills, we look forward to the success of all Taylor students!

My educational experience includes classroom teaching experience in Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, first grade and third grade. In 2012, my family relocated to Abilene and I taught first and third grade at Reagan. I have also had the opportunity to serve as an Instructional Coordinator and an Assistant Principal in Abilene ISD.
