Garcia, Brandon’a

Mrs. Garcia My name is Brandon’a Garcia and I am a proud product of AISD!  In 2004, I graduated from the University of North Texas with a BA in Visual Art Studies, and became a K-12 Certified Art Teacher. I taught Art at a Junior High in Richardson ISD, before moving  with my husband, Patrick & two children to Cuernavaca, Mexico, where we lived & worked as Missionaries for six years. In 2016, we returned to the States, and are happy to now be a part of the Trojan family!

Mission Statement:
I teach Art because I love helping every child reveal the artist inside of them! My goal is to teach students the value and skills of healthy self-expression. In my class, we will respect others’ ideas and be grateful for what we have to share. I will create an environment that is safe, fun, & educational as I teach how to study, make, & talk about Art. I will also emphasize how Art helps us practice all core subjects taught in school.
