Hello, my name is Erin Schroeder and I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN.  I spent 10 years working in the healthcare field, with a majority of my time being spent in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.  In 2017 my husband and I, along with our four children, decided to move back to his hometown of Abilene, Texas.  I took this opportunity to follow my desire to have a meaningful impact in the lives of children.  I have spent the last four years working at Taylor Elementary.  I currently teach Special Education, however I am also certified to teach Physical Education.  I believe that each child is equally created in God's image and that my role is to help each of my students reach their fullest potential by being their champion and empowering them to do their best.
